Albert Hughes
I was first introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2002 while serving in the Army. I became good friends with a jiu jitsu player there and we trained in our spare time. I fell in love with this intriguing new sport. As soon as I returned home, I found the closest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in Fort Worth and signed up! From that point learning, competing, and teaching the gentle art has been my passion. At Genesis, I want to share the many benefits of training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with you!

Tony Tipton
My name is Tony Tipton. People and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are my life. If you want to learn I want to teach you about the art that changed my destiny. Tony has dedicated himself to the grappling arts for the past seven years. He is passionate for learning, teaching and competing. Tony has trained and competed with some of the best the sport has to offer. He is currently sharing his experience and growth with students of all ages and sizes.

Braden Masters
My name is Braden Masters. I first started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the fall of 2006 when I was 17. I got hooked because every class gives you an opportunity to learn new things and I could see the improvement it had on my life immediately.
Since I began training at Genesis, I’ve rededicated myself to becoming the best student and teacher or Jiu Jitsu that I can be.
THE SCHOOL:
Genesis Jiu Jitsu strives to offer the best Brazilian jiu jitsu instruction in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Our facility is over 3000 square feet with ample mat space, private locker rooms, a shower, and childrens area.
At Genesis Jiu Jitsu we provide a safe, clean environment to train in and expert instruction by world class BJJ competitors. Our combination of expert coaching, modern training methods, safe training facilities, competition results and great family environment make us the premier BJJ school in the DFW metroplex.

Genesis has something for everyone. Whether you’re a beginner that simply wants to get into shape – or a professional fighter looking to tighten up your ground game, we can help!
In our adult program you can expect to have fun, exercise, meet new people, and learn self defense all while practicing a fun new sport.
In our children’s class we focus on building sportsmanship, confidence, healthy minds, and healthy bodies.
